Toad in the Hole

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 lb sausages

Batter

  • 4 oz. flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • l/4 pint milk
  • 1/4 pint water
  • 1 egg

Method:
Mix mix batter items together - beat until smooth. Leave batter to stand for at least 30 mins.
 
Heat oven to 425F. Place sausages in hot fat and put in oven for 5 mins. Pour batter over the sausages and cook for 40 mins. Until a golden brown. Serve with gravy, peas and potatoes. Sausages are available at the British Pantry.
